J Salvador
J is from Lancaster, CA and if you know anything about that place, it’s probably not very exciting. So J resorted to escaping the dull realities of the desert through video games, cartoons, and movies. His entire high school career was spent drawing comics based on his friends. After that he was a rock star for a recently deceased punk band. Then he quit the life of creativity so he could “grow up.” After trying for years to “grow up” and be a “normal” person, J finally gave in to his true identity as an artist and has begun daily conceptual art development.
Currently J is a new student to UCSB in film studies and is making all efforts to give the department a new level of professionalism and respectability. When he isn’t changing the way people think through his art forms, he’s finding new ways to make himself think…games, movies, anime…and probably drugs too. For shame.
J dreams of making it BIG in hollywood came true one October evening when he volunteered at the 2004 RESFEST. This is when he first met AL and was given the chance to see the ThUnderground Films "studio." J showed Al some of his graphic art and was asked to be part of the ThUnderground team. Since then J has been very happy.
