Yardsale shopping at the prosumer level.
It's quite common to find a multi-family yardsale outside of an apartment building in Los Angeles such as this one being held by a gymnastics instructor and her neighbors
As my shadow looms over her right ankle like a hypercardiod hawk, a taxicab driver quickly shops in between fares
On several occasions, Roscoe would pick up something at a YS that the crew would quietly request for themselves
Roscoe smiles smugly at the packaged goods on sale- clearly a retailer
Roscoe tells us that the camera's presence affected negotiations on occasion by making some vendors nervous while making other vendors eager to please- which is why he avoided this vendor in favor of the smiling female vendor instead
Sometimes it was difficult to avoid getting crew in the shot at a YS since everyone at TUF loves yardsales too
